In Pairings, we select two works of modern and contemporary art that really resonate with the culture right now.
We focus on BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and artists with disabilities with the idea of expanding the art history canon and to better reflect the world that we live in.
We host lively, engaging, and open-ended conversations with people from all different backgrounds. It’s a chance to learn more about art, process current events, and make new friends.

Angela is an art historian, curator, and educator who believes in the power of art to connect us and help us to think critically. She centers the work of BIPOC creators and enjoys engaging intergenerational audiences.
Guest Presenters
Special Pairings programs will invite guest presenters.
We believe in the transformative power of art to offer positive change and healing at a time when we need it the most.
By looking closely at art and thinking deeply, participants develop a meaningful personal relationship with the art.
These conversations bring people together to listen to one another, offer new perspectives, challenge old ones, and build empathy and understanding.
